The 311RS Porsche Program
The inevitable evolution of the 311RS Program has begun.
2015 marks the last year of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution as we know it. Twenty three years strong, the Evolution has truly evolved into what has become the ultimate Evo. The tenth-generation of the Lancer Evolution arrived in 2008, and as with each Evo before it, the Evo X proved to be an outstanding platform to work with.
Seven years in, our 311RS Evo X program has produced 5 championships, 14 U.S. track records, component developments with technical partners and ultimately, a production run of 311RS Evo Xs. Following the initial eleven unit limited production run in 2014, we’ve introduced our 2015 model, 311RS Spec Blew™.
It’s an evolution of the 311RS formula; we’ve taken the turn-key, fully developed, production Evo X philosophy to the next level with further integration from our Time Attack program. The 311RS Spec Blew™ is more than a special edition or an homage to ol’ Blew, it’s our vision for the ultimate Evo X. And it arrives just in time to send the Evolution off replete with dignity. Contact us at info@311RS.com for ordering information.
As Evo X production ceases at the end of 2015, we’re looking into additional ways to continue building upon the success of our Evo program. Both 311RS Retrofit and Restoration programs are in the works. But ultimately for us to grow, we must push forth and conquer the next platform(s).
For us at 311RS, there is nothing more beautiful than functionality.
Enter Porsche’s 991 GT3. While beauty is subjective, it’s functionality is certainly not. This weekend will be the first time we bring out our group of road-legal Porsches. Nord Stern’s First Fling at BIR provided us an opportunity to push each car to it’s limit and gather data without much restriction.
